The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional; and the hotel has very modern amenities. Unbelievably clean, with very comfortable rooms and facilities. The breakfast was very good, with a good variety of both European foods and standard American fare such as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Secure parking under the hotel helped put my mind at ease. You would have to search for a reason to not be satisfied.

Breakfast was great. The receptionist was attentive. Our room was extraordinary. There was a lift so no concerns about our luggage. Restaurant on site was very good.

We had an amazing time at Weingut Gehlen-Cornelius. It exceeded our expectations in terms of the room, breakfast, vineyard and wine. We could not have asked for a better stay and will be coming back!

This renovated 4-star-Superior hotel in Trier offers a spacious sauna area with pool, different room categories and a high-class restaurant. Trier's historic city center is just 0.6 mi away. A lot of breakfast choices, all very good, all fresh. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Rooms were among the cleanest I have ever seen in any hotel in the world. This hotel was outstanding in every way.

The General Manager Marie was very helpful and accommodating. She phoned us earlier in the day to confirm our ETA and was waiting for us. The price was very good and the continental breakfast superb with very friendly waiting staff. The dining area is so pretty and the rooms clean. The village of Manderen is beautiful with the chateaux looming above it and we loved the church bells tolling regularly!

It’s brilliantly located in centre of town within walking distance of everything In Bernkastel . Excellent breakfast, lovely bar to sit in in evenings sampling the wine. Staff are so helpful and friendly . Can’t recommend enough. It is our place to stay In Bernkastel we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Very friendly staff and a beautiful old building functioning as a mix of cafe and B&B. We were greeted with a glass of sekt and shown to our very fine and spacious room that both had a bedroom and a living room (we suspect we were upgraded without knowing for sure). Best breakfast we had for very long! If you are biking in the area, they have a small closed yard for storing the bikes. Highly recommended

Featuring a fitness center, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Strandhaus an der Mosel is located in Valwig, 3 miles from Cochem Castle and 20 miles from Castle Eltz. This hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. Everywhere smells really nice. The hosts are the most lovely and helpful people. They were always thoughtful about our needs but never invasive. It's suprisingly big since It's a redone house. You get your own key and can come and go as you like. There are about 25 rooms with a shared lounge where you can grab snacks and drinks and just write what you took on a bit of paper. There is no fridge or coffeemaker in the room itself, but we didn't miss it. The shared coffee maker is excellent and prices are cheap. Nearby are at least two good restaurants (next door and Frisch Fritz) at walking distance. Plenty of free parking around. It's the perfect location to visit everything in the area. Breakfast is fabulous and from 8.30 till 10. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
